Che-Wei Hsu is an artist from Taichung, Taiwan (born in 1999) currently living and studying in Rochester. He graduated with a BS in National Taiwan University Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering from 2018-2022, currently studying in Rochester Institute of Technology Photography and Related Media MFA. His work mainly focuses on the relationship between politics, surveillance and people with a series of playful performances, still image and video. His work has been exhibited in a group show in Hirohiro Artspace in 2021. Che-Wei Hsu is currently teaching intro to Film Photography in RIT as a Graduate Teacher Assistant.
